Tiny & Toya have set a BET record for the highest rated original program ever. BET’s new reality series “Tiny & Toya” has set a ratings record for the network. Tuesday’s season finale drew more than 1.9 million total viewers, which gives it a season average of 1.8 million, according to Nielsen Media Research. And that 1.8 million average makes “Tiny & Toya” the top rated original series in BET history.
The night was capped off by the season premiere of “Frankie & Neffe,” which brought in 1.9 million total viewers and stands as the second highest-rated series debut in BET history. “Tiny & Toya” chronicled the everyday lives of T.I.’s girlfriend Tiny and Lil Wayne’s ex-wife Toya – “two ordinary women, brought together in friendship by their shared experiences surviving the pitfalls of fame alongside superstar significant others,” stated BET.
