He of ALL people should be culturally sensitive to using terms that associates African Americans with animals. Sorry if you don’t understand the significence of that. It’s the same reason Disney’s first black princess is a Frog princess and the animated film about African pride is an animal film. If Bush had said it would you all still be laughing your asses off? I’m curious…were there any black reporters in the room? I’m not laughing. Kanye apologized, now Barack needs to man-up and do the same."

Well thats how he feels and this is how I feel basically President Obama said what EVERYBODY was thinking about Kanye ...yes he was a JACKASS for doing what he did to Taylor BUT he did apologize which makes things a lot better so he is NOT a JACKASS anymore he had just made a JACKASS move!! Lol

Four New York men were released from jail Wednesday and authorities dismissed charges that they gang-raped a Hofstra University student after the 18-year-old woman recanted her story. “I’m so happy the truth finally came out,” said Stalin Felipe, 19, outside the Nassau County Jail in East Meadow where he and the other three had just been released Wednesday night. Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice said in a statement late Wednesday that the woman told law enforcement officials that the sex encounter in a dormitory men’s room was consensual. Rice said a county judge then dismissed the charges against the four men and ordered their release. She said her office has launched a criminal investigation into the woman’s statements. The woman had accused five men, including a Hofstra student, of taking her cell phone at an on-campus nightclub and luring her into a dormitory men’s room and sexually assaulting her early Sunday. Four men were arrested within hours and arraigned on rape and other charges. Felipe, Rondell Bedward, 21, Jesus Ortiz, 19, all of the Bronx, and Kevin Taveras, 20, of Brentwood, faced 25 years in prison if convicted. “I’m so happy everything worked out in our favor,” said Romilo Taveras, who picked up his son outside the jail. “That’s no way to treat people.” Kevin Taveras said he was looking forward to a hot shower.

Felipe, who heard the news while half asleep in his jail cell, said he didn’t have any hard feelings toward his accuser. “I’m just happy to be free.” He declined to discuss what occurred Sunday morning. Bedward, who had been suspended by the university after his arrest, declined to speak with reporters outside the jail.

SASHA FIERCE VS. FIERCE

Beyonce has been hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit from bosses at American clothing firm Abercrombie & Fitch over plans to release her own perfume using the name of her alter ego Sasha Fierce. The Irreplaceable hitmaker revealed on Tuesday she had signed with fragrance house Coty to launch her own scent by spring 2010.
Beyonce, who has previously been the face of Tommy Hilfiger's True Star range of perfumes and Emporio Armani's Diamonds, said, "For me, fragrance reflects a woman's attitude and unique sense of style.
"While I love various perfumes, I haven't found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's reflective of my inner power."
But news of Beyonce's big money deal has prompted Abercrombie & Fitch to take legal action over fears her Sasha Fierce perfume will cause confusion among shoppers with their own-branded Fierce fragrance.
Company executives filed a federal lawsuit in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday in a bid to block Beyonce and Coty releasing their scent with the word 'fierce' in its name. The legal papers state the singer's fragrance plan "poses a likelihood of confusion" for consumers and could cost Abercrombie & Fitch in sales.
They argue Fierce is the fashion brand's "signature" scent and is regularly sprayed around its retail stores so that "all garments that leave the store have the Fierce scent attached to them".
Abercrombie & Fitch has grossed more than $190 million in profits from the Fierce fragrance since 2002 and expects to pull in $64 million in sales this year alone. Dammmn thats kinda petty but hey A & F is scared Beyonce will take all their sells hahahaha Ol'well
