UPDATE: Damas has finally been captured for the MURDER of his FAMILY!!

A bruised and bewildered Mesac Damas is seen in this photo taken at the Port-au-Prince police station yesterday in Haiti. As he was escorted down a hallway to his cell, he shouted “I don’t want no pain, no suffering.” According to the Miami Herald, Damas, 33, was taken into custody yesterday afternoon (9/21) by the Haitian National police who found him hiding in a home next to the hotel where he was staying. Damas reportedly told police “I was going to turn myself in. You see I’ve got my suit on and everything,” and he told a reporter he returned to the island nation “mostly to say goodbye to my family.” Damas fled to his native Haiti one day before Naples, Florida police found his wife Guerline, 32, and their five children dead in their home on Saturday (9/19).  Family members say their throats had been slit. Haiti police didn’t say how they located Damas, or what his movements were between Friday and yesterday when he was caught. There also was no word on whether family members in Haiti helped harbor the fugitive who has not been charged in the murders. Guerline Damas’ family had put up a $10,000 reward for information on Damas’ whereabouts. The Damas’s lived together for 10 years and were married two years ago. Friends and family said the couple had a history of domestic violence and Damas was once arrested for domestic abuse. Naples police are working with the FBI and Haitian authorities to extradite Damas back to the U.S Source

POLK COUNTY POLICE CAUGHT PLAYING WII DURING A DRUG BUST...WOW

In March, Polk County drug investigators raided the home of forty-three year old Michael Difalco near Lakeland, Florida. Difalco has an extensive arrest record. He's done time in state prison for trafficking drugs.

On this day, members of a multi department drug task force claim they discovered drugs, weapons and stolen property. A security camera they missed, showed detectives also discovered a fun video game to play, Wii bowling. And over the course of the next 9 hours, the game was on. One detective bowled frame after frame after frame. Practice makes perfect. And while one female detective lifted a couch looking for drugs, another detective focused on pin action Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd calls the display embarrassing.

"How do you explain it? Well you can't explain that, my deputies know that they shouldn't have been playing Wii while they were involved in that search warrant." Detectives from the Sheriff's office, Winter Haven, Auburndale and Lakeland police department's all participated in the raid, and all caught on camera. Judd says it was the supervisors who are at fault. "That doesn't please me what pleases me less is the supervision that didn't say turn the television off." Instead of ordering the video game and television turned off, this supervisor from Lakeland PD joined the fun. Defense attorney Rick Escobar watched a sampling of the drug raid video "I've never seen anything like this. I find this very offensive. Shocking embarrassing I'm sure that the department is extremely embarrassed by this behavior. " Records show 16 detectives spent 9 hours searching Difalco's property, the cost to taxpayers $4,000. Escobar thinks this will not look good to the public. "All the citizens are thinking wait a minute we are paying these people to go out and protect us and here they are playing bowling on our time." The sheriff argues there is always down time during searches, no tax dollars were wasted. The nature of a search warrant is hurry up and wait it just is, am i trying to defend the fact that they were bowling not at all, that was inappropriate." The sheriff claims he launched an internal administrative investigation, and will wait for a final report before he decides if anyone will face discipline. "It's an embarrassment to the detectives involved and its an embarrassment to the organization but you know what we employee 1800 people and not one of them is perfect we all make mistakes. They made a mistake."

UPDATE: Plaxico Burress Sentenced to 2years

 One-time Super Bowl hero Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison Tuesday for violating New York's stringent gun laws and was immediately taken into custody following his hearing. Burress agreed to a plea deal last month and pleaded guilty to a lesser firearms charge. The charges stemmed from an incident late last fall, in which Burress accidentally shot himself in the thigh at a Manhattan nightclub with a gun that had not been licensed in New York. Former Giants receiver Plaxico Burress carried his son Elijah into court on Tuesday, and then told him goodbye. He is expected to serve about 20 months with credit for good behavior, followed by two years of probation. Burress arrived at the courthouse with his wife and son Elijah, whom he carried in his arms, at 9:41 a.m. Before the sentencing began, Burress asked for and was granted permission by the judge to say one last goodbye to his wife and family, seated in the fifth row of the courthouse. The hearing was brief, as the prosecution and defense told the judge they had previously agreed to the guilty plea and two-year sentence. A soft-spoken Burress then apologized to his family and fans and thanked them for their support. "We will all get through this," he said. He was then taken into custody. Burress was scheduled to be taken to the Rikers Island jail in New York, and then be transferred to another correctional facility for processing before being sent to one of New York State's 34 medium-security prisons to serve out his sentence. OBAMA ON LETTERMAN...

Obama wants to see the Lady with the heart shaped potatoe...lol

By the time Barack Obama came on stage to the taping of the "Late Show" on Monday, host David Letterman had offered up 10 reasons why in the world the president had agreed to do it.

Among Letterman's theories: Obama said yes without thinking about it, or as Letterman put it, "Like Bush did with Iraq."

But Obama had other ideas. It turns out he was listening when Letterman had bantered with a woman in the audience who brought — yes — a potato in the shape of a heart to the show.

Obama told Letterman: "The main reason I'm here? I want to see that heart-shaped potato."

The woman tossed the potato to Letterman.

She agreed to let Obama keep it. Said the president: "This is remarkable."

Obama also had his most irreverent answer yet on the question of whether some of the vitriolic reaction to his health care plan is driven at least partly by racism.

"First of all, I think it's important to realize that I was actually black before the election," Obama said to huge laughs from Letterman and the audience.

Responded Letterman: "How long have you been a black man?"

Letterman covered a number of topics with Obama — many of them serious — in a taping that ran about 40 minutes. The show will be broadcast on CBS on Monday evening. On the economy, Obama offered a sober prediction as the country deals with 9.7 percent unemployment, the worst level since 1983. He said he expects unemployment will be a "big problem" for at least another year. But he also said the economy will rebound even stronger. As for the war in Afghanistan, Obama said he knows some people want him to bring troops home, and others are calling for him to increase U.S. force levels to combat the insurgency. The top U.S. commander there is warning the war could be lost without more troops. Obama said he won't make a decision on sending in more troops, though, until he completes a comprehensive review of the war effort and settles on his next strategy. "I'm going to be asking some very hard questions," Obama said. Obama's visit made him the first sitting president to appear on Letterman's program. He had been on Letterman's show five times before, though, most recently in September 2008. The White House said it was a good way for him to reach yet another audience as Obama wraps up a blitz of TV appearances, trying mainly to build support for his health care plan. As president, Obama also went on NBC's "Tonight" show when it was hosted by Jay Leno. After the taping, the president returned to his midtown Manhattan hotel and quietly emerged a while later in gym clothes and a baseball cap. Sources say His 17-year-old daughter, who was at home with him and a male assistant when he collapsed, went with him in the ambulance and was spotted crying heavily. A source revealed that he had been drinking for more than a day. Gossip website TMZ said: 'Hayley Hasselhoff - who was at home with David - called her mother Pamela, claiming David was extremely drunk. 'One of Pamela's friends called 911, paramedics arrived at the family's home in Encino and took him to the hospital.
