SASHA FIERCE VS. FIERCE

Beyonce has been hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit from bosses at American clothing firm Abercrombie & Fitch over plans to release her own perfume using the name of her alter ego Sasha Fierce. The Irreplaceable hitmaker revealed on Tuesday she had signed with fragrance house Coty to launch her own scent by spring 2010.
Beyonce, who has previously been the face of Tommy Hilfiger's True Star range of perfumes and Emporio Armani's Diamonds, said, "For me, fragrance reflects a woman's attitude and unique sense of style.
"While I love various perfumes, I haven't found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's reflective of my inner power."
But news of Beyonce's big money deal has prompted Abercrombie & Fitch to take legal action over fears her Sasha Fierce perfume will cause confusion among shoppers with their own-branded Fierce fragrance.
Company executives filed a federal lawsuit in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday in a bid to block Beyonce and Coty releasing their scent with the word 'fierce' in its name. The legal papers state the singer's fragrance plan "poses a likelihood of confusion" for consumers and could cost Abercrombie & Fitch in sales.
They argue Fierce is the fashion brand's "signature" scent and is regularly sprayed around its retail stores so that "all garments that leave the store have the Fierce scent attached to them".
Abercrombie & Fitch has grossed more than $190 million in profits from the Fierce fragrance since 2002 and expects to pull in $64 million in sales this year alone. Dammmn thats kinda petty but hey A & F is scared Beyonce will take all their sells hahahaha Ol'well

This girl group’s success is absolutely unrivalled, since the girls of Destiny’s Child have sold an astonishing 50 million albums worldwide, so, imagine how fast Destiny’s Child tickets are selling! Unfortunately, they still chose to break up as a group and pursue solo careers. All three members of Destiny’s Child have been extremely (though not equally) successful, but there is this special chemistry between them as a group so they will be performing together again in 2010 so stay tuned and get those tickets!!

Beyonce’s Bodyguard Charged With Assault & Destruction Of Property

According to TMZ.com, Beyonce’s brawny bodyguard, Julius, will be charged with assault and destruction of property by the Croatian authorities for chucking a paparazzi’s tripod into the Adriatic Sea.
If you recall, Jay Z, Beyonce and Julius were dining out while on vacation in Croatia Tuesday night when one paparazzo got a little too aggressive and attacked Julius with his tripod. Julius retaliated by flinging the tripod into the water.
Croation law enforcement tells TMZ Bey’s bodyguard has been charged with destroying personal property and assault — based on a complaint filed by the reporter. Are the Croatians a bunch of haters? Didn’t the authorities see the same video of the altercation that we all saw. Obviously the paparazzo was the aggressor and Julius was just protecting himself by disarming the aggressor.
It seems the Croatians have no love for Beyonce or Jay Z.

Beyonce & Jay-Z on Vacation in Croatia

J & B were spotted heading to a boat in Croatia on Tuesday night and according to reports an overzealous pap tried to get to close to the couple and they didnt like that. The couple is on an overdue vacation for the rest of this week. You can also peep photos of Beyonce enjoying a swim in the water with her friend and her bodyguard, earlier that same day.
